1. Mountain Gorillas
A close encounter with the mountain gorillas of Uganda in the ever green tropical forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga National park in the southwestern part of Uganda will stay with you for a lifetime. The country boasts of being home to more than half of the population of this giant creature, the remaining being in the Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Gorillas are divided into groups called families which are led by a male silverback and rely on him for security from other groups. Tourists are allowed upto 1 hour with the gorillas after tracking and finding them. Tourists can as well meet a vast range primates while on the trail such as Monkeys and Baboons.
2. Visit Murchison Falls
Gazzetted as a National park in 1952, Murchison Falls is the largest national park in Uganda and one of the best destinations for those interested in the country’s wildlife. While in this area, you can expect to see a lot of wild animals such as elephant, giraffes, lions, leopards, crocodiles, hartebeests, oribis, Uganda Kobs, hippos, antelopes, buffalos, and more. The park is also home to 460 species of birds, including the shoebill stork. A visit to Murchison Falls would not be complete without a visit to the falls themselves up close in person. 3. Kampala‘s Night Life
Kampala, Uganda’s capital city is known as a city that never goes to sleep. Both in the night, revellers from all corners of the country and from the neighboring countries flock to the various happening areas to enjoy their lives. The city‘s security is well beefed up and tight that you can freely move at any time of the night to get that piece of fun that you are looking for. Bars and restaurant are located across the all city from the suburbs to the high end areas of the town.
